A remote or in-person workshop to provide guidance on setting up and conducting international user research while avoiding common mistakes and ensuring a stress-free experience. It aims to equip attendees with the necessary best practices to navigate the complexities of international research successfully and to minimise mistakes, maximise efficiency and create a more enjoyable and fruitful research process.

Through a series of practical exercises, we will look into things to be considered in these areas for an efficient process and productive output:

  • External, local support - Do you need them and what do they look like?

  • Project and sessions planning

  • Recruitment and reaching out to your local audiences

  • Logistic

  • Organising the observers

  • Options for moderation

  • Translation and interpretation

  • Incentives and data protection

  • Tools

  • Analysis and report writing

Who is this for / Who should attend

The workshop is for anyone who has the responsibility to set up, run or manage research outside their home countries (e.g. designers, researchers, UX practitioners, product owners)

Including: Researchers, Research Ops, Designers, Product Owners or Product Managers and Marketing Managers. Companies of different sizes are welcome.
